We are experienced visual artists who have lots of years of experience in leading community arts projects and have created murals, banners, mosaics, paintings etc. with the community.

Here are our main members and what they get up to:

Harry Kingham

Circus skills performer, community theatre director and artist. Harry has experience working on large scale community theatre productions, in a variety of different countries since 1996. Harry studied devising and the creation of physical, mask and puppet theatre at Hope Street Limited in Liverpool.

He has learned puppet making and street theatre for large scale productions in the following cities:
Edinburgh, Belfast, Chester, Minneapolis, USA and Bradford.

Judy Connor

Judy Connor has worked as a community artist since 2002, encouraging creativity with a message wherever possible. Working with different communities, including the deaf, people with different mental and physical needs, schools and dementia patients.

Judy aims to use recycled materials in her workshops wherever possible, and has run a wide variety of workshops from felt making to mosaics. Judy has gained a wide experience of events, organising parades from small to large involving 2000 people. Judy studied Fine Art (BA Hons) and Print Making (MA).

Katie Jones

Katie Jones Studied Visual Art at degree level, specialising in sculpture. She then obtained a professional community work qualification. She has over thirteen years’ experience in community and professional art.

Her work has developed from large scale murals and works that reflect social issues in the context of local community. She has evolved her work to include puppetry and performance and has worked on numerous parades and community theatrical events.

John Frankling King - Musician

John has produced participatory music in community settings for multiple carnivals and lantern parades. John is a talented multi-instrumentalist, with a background in live improvised performance, music tuition, workshop leading, music in healthcare settings and music for children's dance sessions. He performs, composes and produces music professionally.

Dave Pope

CDave Pope is a circus Skills performer and youth circus director. Dave has over 30 years’ experience of creating circus for performance in professional and community settings.
