Summer of Fun

It’s been a busy summer of activities working on a variety of exciting projects with Bradford Literature Festival, KAWACC, Better Start and Millan Centre. We enjoyed working with Literature Unlocked, Bradford Literature Festival’s summer programme in four Bradford Parks. We built up a fantastic parade of clay animals devised around the theme of Peter Pan, referencing the recently installed Peter Pan statue in Lister Park. Over 400 unique clay creatures were lovingly made by the children (and adults) of Bradford and culminated in a fantastic Peter Pan inspired installation.

It was great to work with women at KAWACC to create a mural exploring the journey that they experienced through the pandemic. The mural will form part of a new peace garden and the project was part of Bradford’s summer unlocked programme. We had fun running energetic circus workshops with families from the Millan Centre and with Better Start in some of Bradford’s parks. Harry and Steve wowed audiences with their circus shows.
